About the job

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Project Manager. This position is critical for managing various high-impact IT projects, with a strong emphasis on vendor selection, system implementation, and strategic project delivery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT project management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.

Responsibilities:

The IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading and managing a range of projects, including:

ServiceNow Implementation: Leverage expertise in ServiceNow, particularly ITSM and HR modules, with ideal familiarity in implementing NowAssist.

Sales Compensation & Territory Management Solution: Lead the vendor selection and implementation process, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with Sales, Finance, and IT stakeholders. This includes jumping into an in-flight vendor evaluation to help frame the final decision with business stakeholders and the procurement team.

Vendor Management Solution (VMS) RFP: Drive the end-to-end process for issuing and managing an RFP, coordinating closely with Legal, Procurement, and IT Security to select and implement a robust VMS.

Work Management and Collaboration Tool (Coda) Evaluation: Assess existing use cases to determine ongoing fit-for-purpose scenarios, informing future renewal decisions for the platform.

Learning Management System (LMS) RFP: Manage the complete RFP process for a Sales Enablement LMS, from requirements gathering through to deployment and comprehensive change management.

Key Qualities & Qualifications:

Leadership and Communication: Proven track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams (Sales, Finance, IT, Legal, Procurement). Exceptional communication skills are essential for presenting project goals, progress, and outcomes to diverse stakeholders.

Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical capabilities for thorough vendor evaluation and strategic alignment of solutions with overall organizational goals.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated proficiency in identifying potential project risks, proactively developing mitigation strategies, and effectively resolving conflicts to keep projects on track.

Project Management Expertise: Proficient in various project management methodologies and tools. PMP Certification is required.

Vendor Management Skills: Extensive experience in vendor evaluations, contract negotiations, and the ongoing management of vendor relationships.

Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, facilitating alignment and achieving consensus across different departments.

Business Process Understanding: Solid knowledge of key business processes, particularly in sales compensation, territory management, and effective use cases for collaboration tools.

RFP Management: Hands-on experience in managing comprehensive RFP processes, including coordination with Legal, Procurement, and IT Security.

Change Management and Training: Skilled in implementing effective change management strategies and developing comprehensive training materials to ensure successful adoption of new systems and processes.

Continuous Monitoring and Improvement: A focus on defining and tracking metrics for project success, with a commitment to identifying and implementing opportunities for continuous improvement.
