Job Summary:

Understands multiple module configurations in Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). Has thorough understanding of major financial transaction and reporting business processes. Must be able to provide subject matter expertise to the overall business solutions in EBS system and within the business intelligence tools.

Works in a team environment to translate customer requirements into a best fit solution within the framework of Oracle EBS application. Fully understands to support the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Interacts with end user groups to evaluate criticality of upcoming enhancements/changes and works on team capacity planning accordingly. Work on timely resolution of defects logged by the end user.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serves as a top-notch functional expert supporting one or more clients and user groups.
  • Analyzes current business processes, determining the scope and estimates for proposed enhancements or application upgrades
  • Expertise in Oracle financial modules AR, AP, GL, PO and ability to adapt to customizations
  • Expertise in translating EBS data into business intelligence tools (Incorta, Tableau)
  • Provide subject matter expertise to review and guide the team for all business solutions in EBS system
  • Coordinates and manage the life cycle of the enhancement from requirement gathering to being deployed into Production
  • Adept with Agile practices and must collaboratively work in a team environment.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on designing APIs to facilitate real time access to data using REST Web Services.
  • Drive resolution of production incidents through analysis and coordination with multiple teams
  • Guide problem management activities and work with different teams to create fixes based on the root cause analysis
  • Applies expert business process knowledge to significant business projects or processes.
  • Performs business development activities, including providing technical solutions.
  • Provide expertise to review the design/code of various changes in EBS system.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant developments in area of expertise.
  • Deliver presentations and demonstrations to various stake holders including the customer and end user community.

Job Qualifications:

BS or equivalent + 14 years related experience, or MS + 12 years related experience

  • Oracle Federal Financials FV, GL, AP, AR, PO at least 8 years
  • Knowledge of basic Oracle SQL / PL-SQL ability to write simple queries using TOAD
  • Knowledge of Oracle USSGL Accounting is a plus
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow Tool is a plus
  • Knowledge of other tools Gitlab and Config snapshot is preferred
  • Knowledge of business intelligence tools
