Are you passionate about creating exceptional user experiences and driving product success? We're looking for a talented manager to lead our UX/UI and Product Analytics efforts. In this role, you will:
Lead and shape the future of user experience across Equifax Product organisation by driving user-centered design, building a robust Design System, and establishing best practices for product analytics. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging solutions and analyze user behavior to inform continuous improvement. Be instrumental in mentoring teams and fostering a Centre of Excellence for UX within the organization.
Equifax has a hybrid work schedule that allows for 2 days of remote work (Monday and Friday), with 3 days onsite (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) every week.
This role reports to our office in midtown Atlanta, Georgia (OAC) or Alpharetta, GA with occasional visits to the other location.
This position does not offer immigration sponsorship (current or future) including F-1 STEM OPT extension support.
This is a direct-hire role and is not open to C2C or vendors.

What you'll do
- Drive User-Centered Design: Lead and facilitate user-centered design and customer experience activities for both internal teams and external clients. Serving as a subject matter expert and educator for UX best practices.
- Lead UX/UI Best Practices and Community Building: Establish and promote UX/UI best practices, including persona development, customer journey mapping (CJM) and user research, while cultivating a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for UX across Equifax.
- Manage and Evolve the Enterprise Design System: Develop and maintain a scalable enterprise Design System, drive business unit (BU) adoption, and integrate it into the Engineering Handbook.
- Drive Data-Informed Decisions: Utilize data and insights to guide UX/UI strategies and improve user experiences across Equifax products platforms.
- Develop Engaging Solutions: Create compelling, easy-to-use UX solutions across our product platforms, addressing complex business needs and generating transactions/leads.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Manage and actively engage with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, sales, marketing, product, design, and development teams, to gather requirements and translate them into detailed information architecture and interaction design schematics (e.g., visual design comps, proof of concept, prototypes, wireframes, flow diagrams).
- Partner with Engineering and Product: Work closely with Engineering, Product Management, and QA teams from the initial concept through development and implementation cycles.
- Establish and Monitor: Define and implement a robust UX and adoption analytics discipline (through tracking and measurement) to identify data-driven insights and customer-centred user behaviours and experiences, enabling continuous improvement.
- Mentor and Lead: Provide daily management, mentorship, and usability guidance to team members, fostering a supportive and productive environment.
What experience you need
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Design, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in UX/UI design and customer experience with recent experience managing a team of UX/UI designers/researchers.
- Product Analytics: Proven product analytics expertise, including defining and analyzing key usage and adoption metrics, calculating ROI and cost per user, and utilizing data to inform product strategy.
- Web and Mobile App Design: Strong knowledge and experience in designing for both web and mobile applications, with an understanding of responsive design principles.
- Agile/Scrum Experience: Proven experience working within Agile/Scrum development methodologies and iterative development cycles.
- Continuous Learning: Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and staying current with evolving technologies, industry trends, and UX/UI best practices.
- Design and Collaboration Tools: Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma, Jamboard, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and user feedback to inform design decisions. Experience with web, product and UX analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Content Square, Full Story, User Zoom, Amplitude) to track user behavior and adoption metrics.
- UX Research Methods: Experience with user research methods, gathering voice of customers, including user interviews, usability testing, and data analysis to gather insights and inform design.
- Proven experience Driving Data-Informed Decisions: Utilize data and insights to guide UX/UI strategies and improve user experiences across product platforms.
What could set you apart
- Programming Languages and Frameworks: Expertise in modern application programming languages, including advanced CSS, JavaScript, and contemporary JavaScript UI frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- REST APIs and Back-End Integration: Knowledge of REST API design and implementation, and understanding of how to integrate front-end interfaces with back-end systems.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and design rationale to diverse audiences, including technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to present complex messaging and build stakeholder alignment
- Proven Design Thinking knowledge and practical experience are highly valued.
- Demonstrated success in Global Scaling and Change Management within an equivalent or similar role is strongly preferred.
