Job Title: Senior Support Engineer

Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks a Senior Support Engineer at our Newtown Square, PA location for detailed design and implementation of business processes; enforces innovation, service offerings and productization.
Expectations and Tasks:
Core Tasks include: evaluation of innovative industry- and technology- trends and development of corresponding industry process-and solution-maps. Support for internal strategic portfolio planning. Enforcement of industry-specific service-offerings. Detailed design of industry-specific / corporate customer processes. Identification of enterprise services. Proposal of software-decisions (SAP-/Non-SAP-products) within the customer Process-, Application- and IT-landscape based on BPP. Mapping of business process to enterprise IT-architecture. Define requirements for individual development or integration needs. Performance of reviews (process oriented and relation to IT-mapping). Define corresponding organizational structure. Map and validate performance indicators (designed by Transf. Manager). Implementation of designed processes.
Education and Occupational Experience:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and six (6) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:
Experience must involve four (4) years in the following:
Travel: Position requires up to 30% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites.
