Training Specialist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking an experienced and dynamic Training Specialist to join their growing team.

Summary:
As a key member of the Learning & Development team, the Training Specialist will play a crucial role in implementing, facilitating, and evaluating learning programs that enhance employee skills, drive performance, and contribute to organizational success. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing processes, excellent communication skills, and a passion for education and training.

Responsibilities:
* Contribute to training material development: Work with other L&D staff, Quality, Operations, and others as needed to create training materials for production employees; Tailor training methods to the needs of the manufacturing environment
* Conduct Training Sessions: Lead and facilitate training sessions, focusing on knowledge and skills needed to perform safely and effectively in a production environment
* Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Implement evaluation methods to assess the effectiveness of training programs; Use feedback and performance data to refine training techniques and materials
* Coordinate with Production Managers: Work closely with production managers and supervisors to identify specific training needs; Ensure that training programs are aligned with current production goals and practices
* Maintain Training Records: Keep detailed records of training activities, participant progress, and program effectiveness; Use LMS to set up class calendars and sessions, and update learner transcripts

REQUIREMENTS:
* High School diploma or GED required
* Degree or certification in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field preferred
* Experience in a training role within a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Bilingual (English and Spanish) strongly preferred
* Strong presentation and facilitation skills
* Ability to build relationships and positively influence others
* Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Critical thinking and problem-solving skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
