Job Description-

  • The IT Technical Business Analyst (BA) serves as a key liaison between DCF business units, HS-EBIT, technical teams, vendors, and external partners for a large enterprise systems integration project. The BA will analyze, document, and translate business and technical requirements, ensuring scalable IT solutions that align with modernization and enterprise integration goals. This role requires strong leadership in business analysis, excellent communication skills, and experience working in Agile/Hybrid environments.
    • Lead and support discovery, analysis, and documentation of current and future state systems.
    • Collaborate across departments, agencies, and vendors to define requirements.
    • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
    • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and stakeholder sessions for requirements elicitation.
    • Perform data analysis and support reporting with SQL, Power BI, and Tableau.
    • Oversee integration/interface management, configurations, and reporting activities.
    • Support QA/UAT by defining test cases and validating solutions.
    • Maintain requirements traceability, version control, and change management documentation.
    • Review solution designs, technical documentation, and data models.
    • Communicate project requirements, policies, and updates to all stakeholders.

    Skills Required

    • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
    • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
    • Ability to handle conflict and facilitate group discussions.
    • Knowledge of SDLC, IT systems, and data architecture.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, SharePoint, Teams.
    • Experience with tools like Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, MS Planner.
    • Hands-on with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Power Automate.
    • Adaptable in a rapidly changing environment.

    Experience Required

    • 4+ years as a Business Analyst (minimum).
    • 2+ years as a Lead BA on large-scale projects.
    • Strong experience with systems integration projects.
    • Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Hybrid environments.
    • Preferred: Experience with State Government or DCF projects.

    Education

    • Preferred: BA/BS in Business, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
    • Equivalent relevant experience may substitute education.
