Job Description

Our client is seeking a CAD Programming Specialist to join our their team in Mannington, West Virginia. In this role, you will be responsible for creating custom programs from AutoCAD drawings to support our production process. You ll work closely with Customer Service, Planning, and Scheduling teams to ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality program delivery that meets customer specifications and production standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate customer drawings and specifications into accurate CAD programs.
  • Coordinate programming and material requirements with planning and scheduling teams.
  • Monitor and manage programming activities to avoid delays in production.
  • Ensure all CAD programs meet internal quality and production standards.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure alignment and smooth workflows.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to CAD programming processes.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Provide technical support to the Cutting Room as needed.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and CAD programming.
  • Experience with CAM/G-code (preferred).
  • Strong computer skills; SAP experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with cutting table operations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of design techniques, tools (AutoCAD), and production standards for technical plans and blueprints.
