Knowledge Manager, Senior
The Opportunity:

Your combination of people and technical expertise makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. We're looking for a knowledge manager ( KM ) who can assist our client in sharing knowledge to ensure access to the critical information for an enterprise-wide cybersecurity initiative and provide expertise in supporting, implementing, and managing KM initiatives for our clients.

As a Knowledge Manager on our team, you'll train and maintain front-end support for KM sites, make recommendations, and execute KM strategies, plans, processes, tools, assessments, and meeting management practices for a ServiceNow and SharePoint platform. You will share release updates, technical design information, and documentation and provide subject matter expertise for training and communication requirements.

You will assist with the development of KM roadmaps to improve the client's business operations and facilitate the sharing and leveraging of best business practices from the KM community.

You Have:
  • 6+ years of experience working in a professional KM environment
  • Experience developing and maintaining SharePoint, Service Now, GitLab, or Confluence
  • Experience developing and implementing content strategy and information architecture
  • Experience leading a team of technical writers, designers, or engineers
  • Experience developing technical manuals, procedures, or user guides
  • Experience using Micro sof t Office Suite and KM fundamentals and tools
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level II Certification


Nice If You Have:
  • Experience liaising with data architects, administrators, analysts, engineers, and subject matter experts
  • Experience migrating KM systems
  • Experience working as a technical writer or editor in a technology or IT field
  • Experience with content management systems
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience compiling reports on performance and usage metrics
  • Ability to communicate technical information in written and verbal formats to non-technical audiences
  • Bachelor's degree


Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
