Job Title: Azure Data Factory (ADF) ETL Developer
Location Remote
Position Type-Full-time / W2 - with Infinite Computer Solutions

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Factory ETL Developer with strong hands-on expertise in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of ADF, solid understanding of the Azure ecosystem, and experience integrating data from flat files and SQL Data Warehouse using Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Data Factory

Build and orchestrate data workflows across various Azure services (ADF, Azure Storage, Azure SQL, Synapse, etc.)

Process and transform data from flat files, on-prem SQL Server, and Azure SQL/Synapse

Implement best practices for data ingestion, data quality, error handling, performance tuning, and pipeline monitoring

Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business teams to understand requirements and deliver robust data solutions

Optimize existing pipelines for performance, cost efficiency, and reliability

Support deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of ETL processes

Develop and maintain documentation for pipelines, data flows, and system integrations

Work with Power BI team to support data modeling and reporting requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory

Strong experience creating complex and scalable data pipelines

Solid understanding of the Azure data ecosystem

Proficient in Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning

Experience processing flat files, CSVs, and other structured/unstructured sources

Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, data modeling, and data integration patterns

Ability to troubleshoot pipeline failures, optimize performance, and handle large data volumes

Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team

Power BI experience is an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

Experience with CI/CD for ADF

Knowledge of Python

Familiarity with data governance and security best practices
