Summary
The DAPO Specialist supports Gainwell's healthcare program operations by reviewing, validating, and updating provider and pharmacy-related records to ensure accuracy, compliance, and high-quality service delivery. This role is detail-driven and process-oriented, involving structured workflows, data entry, and documentation tasks that align with state Medicaid requirements and internal performance standards. The ideal candidate is dependable, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote environment.

The pay range for this position is $30,500 - $41,600 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Your role in our mission
You will contribute to Gainwell's operational excellence by:
- Processing DAPO work items, provider updates, and pharmacy-related data changes accurately and within required timeframes.
- Reviewing provider records for completeness, discrepancies, and compliance with state and federal guidelines.
- Following defined workflows to resolve issues and escalate complex cases when needed.
- Documenting all actions clearly in accordance with audit, contract, and policy requirements.
- Partnering with internal teams to support accurate provider information across all operational systems.
What we're looking for
- To excel in this role, you should bring:
- Active Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification (PTCB or ExCPT) required.
- 1-4 years of experience in healthcare operations, provider data, pharmacy tech work, retail pharmacy, claims, or similar environments - experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and ability to follow structured procedures.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and comfort navigating multiple systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

- Remote position requiring reliable high-speed internet (minimum 24 Mbps download / 8 Mbps upload).
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews and during the first week of orientation.
