How can you make an impact?
As a Data Scientist, you will join a team of data scientists, AI researchers, software developers, and psychometricians who provide technical and scientific leadership for some of our most important strategic efforts companywide. You will be actively and cross-functionally involved in the entire AI/ML model development lifecycle from design to deployment.

The pay range for this position is between $108,175 - $120,000 annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and/or other benefits, depending on the position offered. This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.
What You'll Do:
- Plan, execute, and report on generative AI projects of diverse scope independently.
- Perform research, analysis, and modeling, and present findings to key stakeholders.
- Check in with your manager weekly about project progress.
- Propose solutions to business problems by tailoring DS/AI concepts/tools/techniques.
- Learn how to balance multiple projects and revise project plans as circumstances change.
- Collaborate with colleagues in other functions to support the creation of compelling learning experiences.
What You Bring:
- Doctoral degree in a relevant field, or a combination of 3+ years of professional experience and a master's degree in AI, Data Science, Statistics, or a related discipline
- Conceptual knowledge of DS/AI through rigorous course work
- Proven ability to apply DS/AI knowledge effectively and tailor processes and methods
- Proficiency in NLP and GenAI techniques
- Experience developing, testing, benchmarking, and monitoring LLM prompts
- Ability to create efficient, scalable Python code
Preferred Experience & Skills:
- Experience with LangChain/LangSmith
- Strong technical communication and collaboration skills
- Affinity for education
- Experience with educational data
