Job Title: MEAN Stack Developer

Location: San Jose, CA (Hybrid)
Job Type: Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated MEAN Stack Developer to join our dynamic development team in San Jose. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with MongoDB, Express.js, Angular, and Node.js, and a passion for building scalable, high-performance web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code using the MEAN Stack.

  • Create RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end components.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality features.

  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure robust and maintainable solutions.

  • Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a MEAN Stack Developer or similar role.

  • Strong proficiency in:

    • MongoDB

    • Express.js

    • Angular (2+)

    • Node.js

  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and web services.

  • Familiarity with front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.

  • Version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).

  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
