Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Agentic AI Developer to join Verizon s innovation team focused on resolving trade-in failure issues through autonomous, intelligent systems. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in Agentic AI architecture, Generative AI, and intelligent automation. Telecom domain knowledge and trade failure remediation are a strong plus.

You will be responsible for building a bot agent that detects and resolves trade-in transaction failures (IMEI mismatches, valuation errors, credit application failures) in real-time, integrating with various backend systems and providing proactive support to store reps.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop intelligent agentic AI solutions to monitor and resolve trade-in transaction failures

  • Build hooks into trade-in and valuation systems for real-time detection

  • Auto-generate support tickets and trigger resolution workflows

  • Analyze failure trends and identify high-impact areas

  • Collaborate with GenAI, backend, and telecom systems teams

  • Implement scenario-based decision making for agent behavior

  • Ensure performance, security, and reliability of AI solutions

Required Skills:

  • 5+ years in software development or AI/ML engineering

  • Strong experience with Agentic AI architecture and autonomous agents

  • Hands-on with Generative AI, LangChain, OpenAI APIs, LLMs

  • Proficient in Python, FastAPI, or Node.js

  • Experience with event-driven architecture and real-time error detection

  • Integration experience with REST APIs, Kafka, Databases (SQL/NoSQL)

  • Familiarity with ticketing and CRM systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce)

  • Strong debugging and logging techniques

  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have:

  • Telecom background or experience with IMEI/Device Trade-in workflows

  • Experience with valuation engines, credit sync, or billing systems

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

  • Experience building observability pipelines and self-healing agents
