About the Role

We are seeking an experienced **Azure Infrastructure Engineer III** to lead and support cloud infrastructure initiatives that enhance the performance, scalability, and reliability of our IT systems. In this role, you will collaborate cross-functionally to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based solutions that drive operational excellence and support our long-term growth.

You will work both independently and within teams to deliver high-impact infrastructure projects, leveraging modern cloud technologies and best practices. This position offers the opportunity to shape our cloud strategy and mentor others while contributing to a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions using industry best practices.
  • Lead infrastructure projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development and operations teams on cloud technologies.
  • Collaborate with system and database administrators to optimize cloud architectures.
  • Define and document deployment strategies, operational procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor and analyze cloud infrastructure performance, capacity, and trends to recommend improvements.
  • Manage access controls, security configurations, and compliance requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
  • Evaluate and recommend new cloud tools, services, and standards to support evolving business needs.
  • Participate in change management, incident response, and patch management processes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of systems architecture and support procedures.
  • Provide off-hours support as needed and deliver regular status updates to stakeholders.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6-8 years of experience in IT infrastructure, with a focus on cloud services and system performance.
  • Proven expertise in Microsoft cloud services (O365, SharePoint, MS Teams, Exchange).
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Cloud Services, including architecture, migration, and support.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware vSphere.
  • Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies (preferably Cisco/Meraki).
  • Proficiency in identity and access management tools (Azure AD, ADFS, SSO).
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow and Microsoft Access.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; able to work effectively across teams.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS and hybrid cloud environments.
  • Knowledge of cloud automation and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices and service-level management.
