Senior DevOps Engineer / Startup / Hybrid

Job Description A fast-growing, start-up is looking to bring on their first DevOps engineer to hit the ground running and build out their infrastructure in AWS. They're focused on bringing identity and compliance to decentralized finance and web3 applications, with the intention of making blockchain a more viable and stable option. As the first full time DevOps hire, you'd be scaling out their Kubernetes environment, improve their observability, and work closely with their software engineering team. Prior experience in the web3 space is a huge plus.

Ideal candidates are experts with AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes, Python or Golang (simple scripts) and ideally have startup experience.

This role is 3 days on-site in Marina del Rey. Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years total experience in DevOps
• 5+ years of experience using AWS
• Experience building Kubernetes clusters from scratch
• Experience building infrastructure from the ground-up
• Experience scripting in Python and Golang
• Strong communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

• Startup Experience and/or experience as the first DevOps hire
• Web3 experience
• Experience with security tooling and/or helping with SOC2 compliance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
