Application Architect

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Architect with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC, Pennington, NJ, and Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract position.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for building or optimizing Generative AI solutions and help the business to address complex problems

Requirements:

• Proven hands-on experience implementing Gen AI project using open source LLMs (Llama, GPT OSS, Gemma, Mistral) and proprietary API's (OpenAI, Anthropic)
• Strong background in Retrieval Augmented Generation implementations
• In depth understanding of embedding models and their applications
• Hands on experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) solutions on text data
• Strong Python development skills
• Comfortable with Pandas and NumPy for data analysis and feature engineering
• Experience building and integrating APIs (REST, FastAPI, Flask) for serving models
• Knowledge of Agentic AI frameworks and Orchestration
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience working with Agile Methodology
• Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to clearly express ideas

Desired skills:

• Fine tuning and optimizing open source LLM/SLM
• Experience in ML and Deep Learning

Pay range: $58.31 - $66.31
