Job Details

Job Title: Network Operations Technician Data Center / Network Administrator Visa: GC-EAD, TN Location: Onsite Ashburn, VA Schedule: Night Shift Four 10-hour shifts (Wed Sat, 8:00 PM 6:30 AM)

Experienced Network Administrator skilled in maintaining the performance, availability, and security of data center network infrastructure. Adept at deploying, configuring, and supporting hardware, troubleshooting incidents, and ensuring compliance with enterprise standards. Proficient in both preventative and corrective maintenance, hardware installations, and data center operational support.

Core Responsibilities

  • Performed network installation and maintenance including rack & stack, cabling, and hardware replacement.
  • Executed server installations: HDDs, memory, CPUs, RAID batteries, and NICs.
  • Supported data center staging, deployment, logistics, and asset management.
  • Conducted hardware break/fix, move/add/change, and troubleshooting of components.
  • Installed and tested fiber and copper cabling; terminated Cat 6 cabling.
  • Utilized DCIM tools such as Nlyte for inventory control and system documentation.
  • Participated in incident troubleshooting, escalation, and vendor coordination.
  • Delivered status reports and ensured timely issue resolution.
  • Performed preventative maintenance and managed PDUs and power loads.
  • Operated out-of-band management tools like KVM/DSVIEW.
  • Familiar with NEMA and IEC power connectors and containment solutions.
  • Maintained compliance with data center safety standards; lifted equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Contributed to procedure documentation and maintained site reference materials.
