Job Summary:
Our Project Management practice group is currently seeking a Sr. IT Project/ Program Manager who has strong experience in Analytics and Power BI to support one of our global Healthcare devices/Life Science clients.
This Program Manager is a solution-oriented leader that can apply program management techniques and experience to lead global, cross-functional teams (including product management, Finance, business intelligence, technology and leadership) to the successful delivery of data-driven, analytical products that improve Financial reporting/forecasts.
The Senior Program Manager will be adept at building and maintaining relationships; is highly analytical, customer obsessed, adaptable, and enjoys bringing structure and discipline to ambiguous spaces to realize measurable value for the business.
You will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs and balance short & long-term business needs against constraints.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Partner with cross-functional teams - Finance, Business Intelligence, Technology and Supply chain, across geographies and with conflicting needs/priorities to launch multiple products, from concept to launch in an agile development environment.
- Lead / support the finance project portfolio execution using tools including but not limited to: PlanView, Power BI, Excel, and other standard apps to ensure our standard Project Management framework(Agile, Waterfall) is employed.
- Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant partners and ensure resource availability and allocation
- Ensure that all projects are delivered timely, within scope and within budget by use of a detailed project plan to track progress and action logs. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Inform executive leadership on program status, raising to management as needed!
- Organize and lead project meetings and compile project status report to partners and project team to get results to schedule and develop resolutions to mitigation risks/issues.
- Support Business and Group level business and finance partners to define optimal use cases that meet business strategic and technological needs
- Use appropriate verification techniques to handle changes in project scope, schedule and costs
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
- Lead team to resolve all program/project issues and impediments on a timely manner, effectively communicate, manage expectations, and resolve conflicts working closely with team and leadership.
- Build and execute operational and technical project plans, facilitate all project gate reviews, utilize PPM tool and effectively escalate issues to meet the project milestones/goals.
- Provide regular status update to the Leadership and Management team with constant drive to make improvements to the outcomes.
- Demonstrate high adaptability and flexibility to take responsibility to support various projects.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Business Administration, Mathematics, Finance or related fields
- 15 years of relevant work experience as a Project/Program Manager managing global team for financial reporting/analytics projects
- Project Management PMP certification is a plus
- Budget tracking/ Planview a plus
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience in Finance, Business Intelligence, Data Science and Data Engineering working with different business and product teams, preferably in a large global organization
- Strong communicator with effective presentation skills delivering formal presentations & facilitate Demo to various levels of management articulating project/Sprint status, risk mitigations, benefits & financial realizations.
- Self-motivated and independent critical thinker who can visualize and guide team during conflicting situations to stay focused on business goals & priorities
- Effective conflict & impediments management in a fast-paced environment, take higher responsibilities working with cross functional team who are working on multiple priorities
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence stakeholders and team members with variety of personal styles to focus on right priorities under pressure and tight deadlines.
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $71.18 to 83.14 W2. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
