Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 15+ years of experience performing systems engineering in support of command, control, communications, computers, cyber-defense, combat systems, intelligence, surveillance, or reconnaissance missions in a major Defense Acquisition Program
- Experience with future architecture planning resulting in well-orchestrated, evolutionary improvement of a system or system-of-systems
- Experience with early technology research, experimentation, or prototyping efforts leading to technology maturation and adoption
- Experience leading a team working on large-scale DoD systems
- Knowledge of DoD Science and Technology (S&T) or technology maturation processes that are performed by DoD and national research laboratories
- Ability to effectively manage staff and client relationships in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively communicate and establish collaborative relationships with government clients, Federally Funded Research and Development Centers (FFRDC), and associate contractor teammates to achieve program goals
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics
Nice If You Have:
- Experience leading a team using the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) approach to manage system definitions and technical baselines
- Experience with DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) of major DoD space systems
- Experience with DoD acquisition planning for space systems
- Knowledge of DoD 5000.01/02 and systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Knowledge of Stakeholder Utility Analysis or similar methodologies to support prioritization of enterprise capability needs
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a technical field
- Systems Engineering Professional Certification, including ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP Certification
