Job Title: Application Development Manager

Overview
This role provides technical leadership, ensures high-quality software delivery, and supports the full application development lifecycle in collaboration with architects, project managers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, mentor, and develop a team of IT consultants and staff.
- Monitor team performance to ensure coding standards, best practices, and quality deliverables are consistently met.
- Establish and enforce best practices to ensure enterprise applications are scalable, maintainable, and supportable.
- Collaborate with architects to ensure proper implementation of software designs.
- Evaluate and recommend software tools and solutions to improve application quality and efficiency.
- Partner with project managers throughout the full project lifecycle, from planning through implementation.
- Provide guidance in troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
- Participate in interviewing, selecting, and hiring qualified candidates.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly status and performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor staff schedules, performance, and coverage to improve efficiency and identify training needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Technical certifications (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT management, technical lead, or project management role.
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience supervising or leading a technical or support team.
- Experience with ServiceNow ITSM.
- Experience using Agile/SCRUM methodologies and tools such as Azure DevOps / TFS.
