Our client is looking for a Field Service Technician for a 3-month contract in Georgetown, MD 21930.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and cable installation
- Experience with restaurant technologies preferred
- CompTIA A+ and Network+ (or 5+ years of relevant experience)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and use a ladder (up to 10 ft reach)
- General contractor skills (drill usage, etc.). Light contractor work, such as drilling through and mounting hardware into walls and countertops, may be required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
- Must complete client-specific training and pass certification exam
What You Will Be Doing
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Provide on-site support for restaurant staff
- HW and SW install and configuration experience
- Perform quarterly preventative maintenance (some after-hours required)
- Terminate, test, and replace network cables (Cat5/Cat6/Cat7)
- Organize and manage cable layouts for optimal performance
Training & Documentation
- Train restaurant staff on new systems
- Maintain accurate records of support requests and configurations
- Track hardware, software licenses, and inventory levels
- Assist with rollout and upgrade projects
- Maintain secure and efficient network infrastructure
- Support online ordering and delivery platforms
