Job Description:

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Software Engineer. Senior. Design, develop, and implement solutions, applications, and services to enhance InfoSec operations, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality code through design, review, documentation, and testing. Support ServiceNow development and customization, including API development and configuration, to enhance GRC/IRM use cases. Architect and develop a centralized intake tool with API integrations to streamline service request intake for multiple InfoSec teams. Build executive-friendly web applications for risk acceptance tracking and develop web applications and automation scripts to calculate Cyber Maturity metrics based on compliance criteria. Perform data analysis on security risks under the Risk Management Program, developing data models in ServiceNow and building dashboards and metrics across multiple BI tools for effective reporting and decision-making. Gather and analyze requirements for the InfoSec Metrics Program, perform data source mapping, and develop operational and executive-level metrics while supporting data integration and automation across security tools. Develop dashboards and reports to track security control coverage, program maturity, vulnerabilities, and risk remediation for Akamai management. Coordinate with InfoSec teams and business partners to define new feature requirements, troubleshoot issues, and resolve application maintenance concerns. Required Qualification:

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Analytics, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Telecommunications Engineering, plus 5 months of experience in the job offered or closely related engineering role. Must have Five (5) months of experience with the following: Alteryx, PowerBI, DAX, KPI Analysis, Power Query, Python, and Dashboarding and Visualization.

Compensation:

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary for this position ranges from $122970 - $221400/year; a candidate's salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location.

The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
