Project Overview
Our client is undergoing a site-wide digital transformation, enhancing connectivity through structured cabling and wireless infrastructure. As part of this initiative, we're seeking an expert-level Cable Technician to support the installation of data cabling and wireless access points under the guidance of a Security 101 Lead Technician.

Project Overview
Our client is undergoing a site-wide digital transformation, enhancing connectivity through structured cabling and wireless infrastructure. As part of this initiative, we're seeking an expert-level Cable Technician to support the installation of data cabling and wireless access points under the guidance of a Security 101 Lead Technician.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret blueprints and site drawings to plan cable runs
- Execute cable runs, dress cables, and perform terminations
- Terminate RJ45 connectors using crimpers and punchdown tools
- Install and wire wireless access points and data outlets
- Support structured cabling in data closets and throughout the facility
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate installations
- Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism on-site
Required Skills & Experience
- Expertise in: Cat5, Cat6, low-voltage cabling, RJ45 terminations, punchdowns
- Hands-on experience with: Cable pulling, dressing, and installation
- Comfortable working at heights using ladders and boom/aerial lifts
- Proficient with hand tools relevant to cabling and device installation
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable and punctual - attendance is critical to project success
Preferred Skills
- Experience with CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with structured cabling in industrial environments
- Ability to adapt to changing site conditions and project needs
