Job Description
A government organization is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to support the implementation of the PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 Accounts Receivable and Billing modules. The analyst will play a key role in understanding business needs, evaluating alternative solutions, and delivering process improvements by analyzing user requirements and system capabilities.
The selected candidate will:
Work closely with users to understand business objectives and operational issues.
Conduct cost-benefit and feasibility analysis for automation and improvements.
Perform fit-gap analysis to compare current business processes with PeopleSoft functionality.
Gather and document user requirements, business rules, and process flows.
Write detailed functional specifications and interface requirements.
Evaluate system capabilities and constraints to assess implementation feasibility.
Participate in testing activities, data mapping, and system integration efforts.
Collaborate with remote teams to support implementation, documentation, and training.
Support other project-related duties as required.
Candidate Requirements
Minimum Experience and Skills (Required):
At least 8 years of experience as a business analyst with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.
At least 8 years of experience specifically in Accounts Receivable and Billing module implementations.
At least 8 years of experience gathering requirements and conducting fit-gap analysis with SMEs.
At least 8 years of experience performing end-to-end integration testing with third-party interface systems.
At least 4 years of experience using Microsoft O365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
At least 2 years of experience working with Microsoft Teams in large, collaborative team environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
4 years of experience working with public sector organizations (Federal, State, or Local Government).
2 years of experience working with the Texas Comptroller s CAPPS Financials system.
2 years of experience with PeopleSoft Approval Workflow Engine (AWE).
2 years of experience with SharePoint.
1 year of experience using Jira for agile project management.
1 year of experience working within the Scrum framework.
1 year of experience using STAT for PeopleSoft change management.
