OSP Design Engineer Responsibilities
- Design copper and Telecommunication OSP systems
- Apply general construction knowledge to telecom projects
- Utilize tools such as Word, Excel, Visio, ArcGIS/ESRI, 3GIS, and Google Earth
- Work with engineering systems and databases
- Understand network plant structure and local engineering practices
- Support right-of-way, property rights, and permit acquisition processes
- 5 7 years of experience in telecommunications, data networking, or wireless
- Strong computer skills and experience with relevant engineering applications
- Knowledge of copper and Telecommunication OSP design standards
- Familiarity with network plant layout and permitting
