Testing Tools Administrator (qTest)

What does a successful Testing Tools Administrator (qTest) do at Fiserv?

You will be a QA Tools Administrator that will monitor and maintain the efficiency of our software applications (both on-prem and vendor hosted). You will collaborate with our software engineering team & vendors, working with Offshore colleagues and performing successful updates/upgrades at the application UI and server levels. You will also provide IT support, training, and best practice documentation to our clients.

What you will do:

  • Provide software application support for QA applications (Tricentis qTest, Sauce Labs as well as our internal metrics database system)
  • Perform analyses on software application functionality and suggest improvements, including routine maintenance practices
  • Ensure effective front-end and back-end functionality of applications
  • Consult with the vendor and clients to improve application performance
  • Manage compliance and patch updates, disaster recovery plans and vulnerability remediation across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality
  • Establish the root causes of application errors, and escalate serious concerns to management
  • Keep a record of configuration changes and schedule application updates and document processes and monitor application performance metrics
  • Provide reporting and metrics support pertaining to applications (i.e., license and usage reports, application usage governance, testing dashboards)


What you will need to have:

  • 6+ years' experience as an application support administrator
  • 3+ years' experience managing application upgrades, document configuration changes, maintain security requirements and monitor performance
  • 3+ years' experience providing front-end support to internal departments and web-based clients
  • 2+ years' experience in determining the causes of application errors and repairing them.
  • Bachelor's degree in data science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or an equivalent combination of education, work, or military experience


What would be great to have:

  • 2+ years' experience in Microsoft Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate applications, and their backend functions (Power BI gateway, dataflows, API data extract)
  • 1 year experience in Jira application as a user
