Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior .NET Developer with over 7 years of hands-on expertise in ASP.NET 4.5, MVC, and SQL Server. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Microsoft technology stack. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using ASP.NET 4.5 and MVC architecture.

  • Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas in SQL Server.

  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and support.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, UI/UX, and project management.

  • Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and adherence to best practices.

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of hands-on development experience with ASP.NET 4.5.

  • Proficient in MVC framework and design patterns.

  • Strong experience with SQL Server: writing complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning.

  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).

  • Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery is a plus.

  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git or TFS.

Preferred Qualifications (Optional):

  • Experience in migrating legacy .NET applications to newer frameworks.

  • Exposure to Web API, RESTful services, or .NET Core is a bonus.

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
