Immediate need for a talented Desktop Support Technician. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Dayton, OH(Onsite). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $21 - $22/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Must have their own transportation
  • Must be willing to travel to travel general area using personal vehicle
  • M-F, 8am-4:30 pm.
  • Must be able to work in any of the four locations in the Dayton area no more than 30 minutes apart.
  • Beavercreek, Vandalia, University of Dayton, and Dayton
  • Mileage provided in the event of unscheduled coverage of another site that requires leave main work location during shift
  • Mileage provided in the event cover site outside of the Dayton, OH metro
  • Airfare/Rental provided in the event cover site in another state
  • or locally exceeding mileage provision
  • Meals, lodging, rental, and associated travel fees provided by the company
  • Otherwise, associates would be working from one primary location in
  • Work as a floating technician in the local metro to help with coverage during time off, leave of absences, backfilling onsite technician, special projects, and any additional coverage needs to ensure operational stability for our customer.
  • Coverage includes sites outside of the metro so associates must be willing to travel out of state multiple days/weeks. We expect this to not be a frequent ask but will be a requirement of the job
  • Maintain, analyze, and troubleshoot, software and computer peripherals. Ability to setup, configure and add all hardware.


Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

  • Key skills; Installation, Configuration, Troubleshooting
  • Experience with asset management. Install, move, add, and change. Large IMAC events expected for client printer migration and PC refreshes
  • Assure that all tickets requiring follow up work and/or calls receive appropriate attention.
  • Comfortable with face to face interactions as will be required to provide technical support to end users in-person at the customers site
  • Back up and burn end user data.
  • Assist in developing and documenting improvements to current processes. Assist other coworkers in resolution of end users technical issues across the program and providing assistance with mentoring new employees
  • Assist Site Leader in the execution of established processes and escalations.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Experience working in enterprise environment.
