SAP BTP /CPI Architect

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced SAP Architect to lead integration initiatives onsite in Milwaukee, WI. The consultant will play a key role in shaping the SAP BTP Integration Suite strategy, designing and implementing integration solutions, and guiding technical teams to successful delivery. This is a short-term, high-impact engagement requiring strong hands-on expertise and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement enterprise integration strategy using SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Design, develop, and maintain integration flows with SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, and other BTP services.
• Lead and mentor the project team, ensuring best practices across development, testing, and deployment.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, and external vendors to align technical solutions with business requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration performance to ensure reliability and scalability.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. enterprise security policies, data governance, and industry standards.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in SAP integration technologies.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BTP Integration Suite.
• Expertise in:
  • SAP Cloud Integration (CPI)
  • SAP API Management
  • SAP Event Mesh
  • SAP Open Connectors
• Proven ability to lead teams, drive architecture decisions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP BTP certifications (Integration Suite, Extension Suite, etc.).
• Experience with non-SAP integrations (Salesforce, Maximo, Azure, etc.).
• Knowledge of Agile practices and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
