Job Details

Seeking a Project Manager responsible for the development & implementation of assigned projects, serving as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters. This role provides technical and analytical guidance to the project team, while also recommending and acting on solutions to resolve problems.

Duration: contract/6 months with the possibility of extension
Work locations: Farmington Hills, MI. (hybrid)

Required experience:
Must have commercial and/or credit domain experience listed on your resume to be considered.

Key responsibilities/project execution:
Manage small to medium-sized projects of moderate complexity.
Ensure on-time delivery and execution of critical technology projects & initiatives to deliver business value.
Collaborate with the core project team (including business partners, vendors, and technical teams) to develop detailed, actionable project schedules.
Assign tasks & develop detailed and accurate work schedules, project estimates & resource plans.
Execute, monitor, and control technical projects from the original concept through final implementation.
Communicate accurate and timely project accomplishments and overall project health to stakeholders using required methods (e.g., status reports, metrics, checkpoints, portfolio reports, and scorecards).
Manage and monitor project budgets, with a strong focus on approved technical funding and cost containment.
Ensure cost changes have accurate and timely approvals, following all corporate and department standards and procedures.
Review project deliverables, especially technical artifacts.
Manage the technical vendor team and track/review their deliverables.
Ensure support teams are engaged to facilitate effective training and turnover of technical solutions.

Resource Planning:
Staff technical projects through initial resource planning & ongoing accurate labor forecasting.
Ensure the right teams are engaged at the right time for the right work throughout the project lifecycle.
Ensure accurate and timely time charges to assigned projects.
Coordinate contingent labor procurement and selection as required.

Risk Management:
Ensure the technical team adheres to all government, corporate, and department standards and procedures in all technical artifacts, tasks, and decisions.
Work to ensure all project artifacts adhere to these standards, policies, and procedures.
Proactively manage and mitigate project risks.

Education:
Bachelor s Degree
