Strategic Direction
Build and evolve a proactive, data-backed social media strategy that grows awareness, strengthens community, and drives engagement.
- Lead real-time social listening and trendspotting to shape agile content that keeps client in the conversation.
- Partner with the Director of Social Media on executive-level reporting and narrative storytelling for internal stakeholders.
Content Creation + On-Camera Leadership
Create and execute high-impact content across channels (Instagram, TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook).
- Confidently appear on camera in short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, Stories) to humanize the brand and demonstrate product benefits.
- Produce videos and graphics using tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, etc. fast and high quality.
Community Management
Work with our specialist to manage and grow online communities with a strong voice, quick reflexes, and authentic interactions.
- Proactively engage with followers, address issues, and turn casual fans into loyal brand advocates.
- Collaborate with PR, Marketing and/or Customer Care teams to triage and address real-time social escalations.
Analytics + Optimization
Track, analyze, and report performance metrics regularly to inform strategy and improve outcomes.
- Identify content gaps and opportunities through ongoing performance insights.
- Use U employee advocacy, and influencer partnerships to amplify brand reach.
Influencer + Collaboration Support
Partner with marketing, PR, and product teams to drive integrated campaigns and influencer strategies.
- Help vet, pitch, and manage influencer relationships in coordination with the greater marketing team.
Who You Are
7+ years of hands-on social media experience (ideally in tech, consumer, or innovation-forward industries).
- A proven content creator who is comfortable on camera and confident behind it (you can record, star in, and edit the video!)
- Deep knowledge of platform best practices across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, Facebook, YouTube and other emerging platforms.
- Strong writer, sharp thinker, and natural storyteller with an eye for what pops in the feed.
- Comfortable using AI and social tools (e.g., Sprout, Later, Canva, CapCut, ChatGPT) to work smarter, not harder.
- Data-obsessed but human-first you love translating numbers into insight and action.
- A collaborative teammate who s flexible, curious, and calm under pressure.
- Bonus: Experience managing or mentoring junior team members.
