Client is seeking a Batch Operations Lead to support daily batch operations and maintenance. The role involves managing batch workflows, optimizing job schedules, and providing support during outages. Responsibilities include maintaining SOS Job Scheduler, implementing policies, managing scheduling systems, and ensuring SLAs are met for backup, recovery, and incident response.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and improve production batch workflows.
- Manage job scheduling (insertions, updates, deletions) in SOS Scheduler.
- Coordinate with design, support, and business teams for service continuity.
- Ensure software, releases, and patches are up to date.
- Develop and maintain procedures for incident and change management.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of batch operations and job scheduling tools (preferably SOS Scheduler).
- Experience in SLA-driven environments.
- Familiarity with backup/recovery systems and incident management processes.
