About the Job
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Designer/Drafter to join our team on-site in Boise, Idaho, supporting a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. In this role, you'll collaborate with engineers, project coordinators, and construction teams to deliver high-quality electrical design solutions. You'll play a key role in translating complex concepts into clear, buildable designs using tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks.

This is a hands-on role that involves regular field visits, coordination with multiple disciplines, and the creation of detailed 2D/3D drawing packages. If you're passionate about design, thrive in dynamic environments, and enjoy solving real-world challenges, we'd love to hear from you.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate degree (AA) in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design or a related technical field
  • 4+ years of progressive experience in CAD drafting/design of process systems
  • 2+ years of experience with Revit 3D modeling and design
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in manufacturing or construction environments
  • Familiarity with semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or advanced facilities
  • Hands-on experience with field walks, punch list coordination, and construction trade collaboration
  • Working knowledge of NFPA codes and standards
  • Proficiency in Navisworks for clash detection and coordination
  • Experience drafting electrical one-line diagrams, conduit and cable tray routing, panel schedules, and equipment layouts
Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular site visits to verify field conditions and ensure alignment with project specifications and Basis of Design (BOD)
  • Collaborate with engineers, coordinators, and construction teams to deliver integrated design solutions
  • Develop clear, accurate 2D/3D drawing packages that meet site standards
  • Create detailed electrical plans and one-line diagrams using AutoCAD and Revit
  • Support design changes, cost reduction initiatives, and manufacturability improvements
  • Review vendor submittals and provide drafting support for engineered systems
  • Participate in field verifications and support drawing control processes
