L2/L3 Support Tech
Kansas City Area - Onsite 5 days per week
6 Months Contract to Hire
Pay rate: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced L2/L3 Deskside Support Tech to provide high-touch, white-glove support to end users, including C-level executives. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical troubleshooting skills, experience supporting Microsoft and Citrix environments, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

This role requires a highly professional demeanor, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to resolve both complex technical issues and everyday user requests efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site and remote deskside support to users, including executive leadership, with a strong emphasis on white-glove service.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues on Windows-based laptops and iOS mobile devices.
  • Support and maintain Microsoft technologies including Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and Intune.
  • Administer and support Citrix environments and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
  • Leverage remote support tools such as Bomgar / BeyondTrust for diagnostics and remediation.
  • Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control through Active Roles Server (ARS) and Azure AD.
  • Utilize ServiceNow for incident, problem, and service request management.
  • Assist in device rollouts, upgrades, patching, imaging, and software deployment using Windows Autopilot and Intune.
  • Support printers, networked peripherals, and perform routine hardware maintenance.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams for escalated issues and project-based support.
  • Document procedures, knowledge base articles, and troubleshooting steps for team reference.
  • Participate in on-call rotation or after-hours support as required.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • 4-6+ years of deskside or IT support experience, including L2/L3 level troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience supporting C-level executives with professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies: Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and Intune.
  • Hands-on experience with Citrix (required).
  • Familiarity with remote support tools such as Bomgar / BeyondTrust.
  • Solid experience with ServiceNow ticketing system.
  • Experience with Active Roles Server (ARS) and Windows Autopilot.
  • High proficiency supporting iOS mobile devices (majority of mobile estate).
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking components.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:
  • Basic scripting skills (PowerShell or similar) for automation or reporting.
  • Experience in an enterprise rollout or migration project.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or familiarity with ITIL best practices.
