Location: 100% Remote - Working Hours - Central Standard Time

Duration: Term of Contract - Six Months

 

NetSuite Developer

Position Overview

This position will interface directly with business users to understand business requirements, define solution architecture, create technical specs, design, develop and implement solutions focused on the NetSuite platform.

 

Primary Responsibilities

· Performs analysis and design for program changes to meet user stories/requirements.

· Acquires and applies basic business knowledge to support application design/configuration.

· Make complex modifications to existing software applications, modules, and platforms in accordance with high-level specifications, application support, and industry standards.

· Plans, documents, and executes unit test plans to ensure completed code meets defined success criteria.

· Deploy, monitor, and support software releases during iterative development cycles.

· Provides documentation to support code changes.

· Complies with and contributes to standards and procedures to ensure consistency in programming standards and change management.

· Ability to keep up with current technology trends in NetSuite to access and make recommendations on processes, design, and operations

 

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

· Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

· SuiteCloud Developer II Certification desired

· 3 – 5 years’ experience implementing and developing with required skills below

NetSuite Tester

Position Overview

This position will work with dedicated product teams to ensure that our NetSuite and financial applications deliver against our customers’ unmet needs. They will function as ambassadors of quality within the team instilling a testing mindset to improve overall quality and team velocity. They are responsible for ensuring our applications functions the way it is intended by creating testing plans and strategy.

· Performs test plans and design for program changes to meet user stories/requirements.

· Plans, documents, and executes system test plans to ensure completed code/configuration/changes meets defined success criteria.

· Deploy, monitor, and support software releases during iterative development cycles.

· An advocate for continuous improvement of our software development process.

· Complies with and contributes to standards and procedures to ensure consistency in testing standards and change management.

· Ability to keep up with current technology trends in NetSuite to access and make recommendations on processes, design, and operations

· Self-sufficiently perform routine testing work

· Perform exploratory testing on the product to understand its testing challenges

 

Education and Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field

· Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

· Demonstrated experience building tests from scratch without an existing framework

· 3+ years of experience in testing software

 

Required Skills:

· Experience testing APIs

· Experience testing consumer facing web applications

· Deep knowledge of software testing best practices in an agile environment
