The Senior Salesforce Developer partners with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role involves full lifecycle development including prototyping, coding, testing, and deployment, with a focus on scalable architecture and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of scalable Salesforce architecture and integrations.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in configuration and custom development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business goals.
- Develop, test, and debug Apex code, Lightning components, and flows.
- Document code changes and support user training and procedures.
- Participate in planning and delivery of project milestones.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in application development.
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps Center and source control (Git).
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work in a hybrid onsite schedule in West Des Moines.
Preferred Skills
- Salesforce Platform Developer 1 (required); Developer 2 (recommended).
- Experience with Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Familiarity with Informatica or other ETL tools.
- Knowledge of insurance industry practices.
- Experience with large data volumes and performance optimization.
- Collaborative and team-oriented mindset.
- Adaptability to change and fast-paced environments.
