Description
We are hiring for a seasoned Director of IT who has experience implementing salesforce, managing vendor relationships, and people management. You must have experience with budgets, working through and negotiating contracts, RFPs, and SOWs.
This is a great position for someone who has Project Management experience and has analyzed their department before to determine what should be kept in house vs outsourcing. You will be coaching the IT team, including managing consultants on both the development and infrastructure sides. You must understand how to guide the decision process and present to leadership clearly and effectively. You will be in charge for all source code and SOP documentation.
This is a strategic position where you will report to the CIO directly, discussing strategy on how to improve the organization's technical standing as well as make it more appealing to current and future clients.
There is some infrastructure technical work when "all hands on deck," is needed so willingness to roll up your sleeves is a must.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible IT experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial and leadership role.
o Extensive Salesforce experience with expertise in leading robust Salesforce end-to end projects, and a strong track record of managing vendor relationships to ensure accountability, transparency, and on-time deliverables. Fonteva Association Management System highly preferred.
o Proven experience leading enterprise-wide system implementations, integrations, and digital transformation efforts with budget accountability.
o Knowledge of various project management methodologies required; PMP or other relevant Project Management certification preferred.
Experience working in a complex nonprofit, higher education, membership association, or mission-driven environment a plus.
