Job Details
Position: Veeva Admin/ Tech Lead
Location: Remote (Canada)
Type: 6 months Contract to Hire
Required Skills:
Veeva Platform/UCV certified (Admin/Associate Admin)
10 + years of experience in Information Technology.
4+ years of experience in Pharma domain implementing/configuring Veeva Vault
Must have an experience on Veeva CTMS, TMF, Site connect and SSU.
Experience in end-to-end Veeva implementations as a Technical Lead
Hands-on expertise in configuring Veeva.
Extensive experience on Milestones, Templates, Workflows, security settings, documents and Vault API to vault loader.
Knowledge of Integration of Veeva with other downstream applications using Informatica and/or other ETL tools
Experience in building Web Service enabled applications (SOAP and RESTful)
Understanding of life sciences content management principles, types, and taxonomies
Familiarity with 21CFR Part 11, regulatory compliance and validation standards
Roles and Responsibilities:
Provide support covering all issues, primarily related to Veeva Clinical Platform (Clinical Data + Clinical Operations) applications.
Specialized Knowledge about Veeva software as a Subject Matter Expert
Handle inquiries regarding both Application, Integration & Technical issues, information requests on application capabilities
Troubleshoot critical production issues, including system unavailability and data integrity issues, and propose resolutions or workarounds
Provide coordinated support for getting new releases and configuration changes into production
Be a customer facing representative for the Managed services and addressing Incident/SR/CR/Problem remediation
Be responsible for ticket and/or customer escalations and drive progress until resolution
Interface with Engineering, Product Management when necessary
Responsible for implementing configuration change requests on lifecycles, workflows, security settings, objects, and document types/subtypes.
Manage Veeva product releases and resolution in the application.
Responsible for risk assessment of changes in the quarterly releases across all Veeva applications.
Oversee and participate, as needed, in system and user acceptance testing including IQ/OQ/PQ.
Provide training support for new Veeva users.
Provide Veeva administration and operational support including user and security management, hierarchies, roles, data management, workflows and report creation as necessary.
Participate in requirements gathering efforts (Business Process/Functional and Technical Specifications) for the Veeva applications.
Draft and lead IT Change Control Process as required for Veeva Vault Applications
