Sr. Test Development Engineer
We are looking for a Senior Test Development Engineer to drive the design and deployment of end-of-line test systems for high-volume production of complex electro-mechanical assemblies. In this role, you will partner closely with design, manufacturing, and system architecture teams to develop test strategies that ensure product quality and meet delivery targets. You will lead the development and implementation of automated test equipment and test software, focusing on throughput, repeatability, and reliability.

Key job responsibilities
  • Develop test plans and specifications for complex electronic assemblies
  • Design and implement scalable test systems for high-throughput manufacturing environments
  • Define and execute validation and verification plans for test equipment
  • Work cross-functionally with product design and manufacturing teams to influence design for testability
  • Implement data acquisition and reporting systems to support statistical process control
  • Analyze test data and drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement
  • Provide hands-on support to resolve technical issues in production

Basic qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent discipline
  • 5+ years of experience in developing test systems for electronic or electro-mechanical products
  • Proficiency with test instrumentation and tools such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and DAQs
  • Experience with programming/scripting languages such as Python, C/C++, or LabVIEW
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing test processes and statistical quality control

Preferred qualifications
  • Master s degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Experience with high-volume production environments
  • Experience designing automated test systems using PXI, GPIB, or similar interfaces
  • Familiarity with RF, optical, or environmental testing methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
