Position: It Software Engineer
Location: Portsmouth, NH
Duration: 6 months Contract
Job Description:
Responsibilities
Develop scalable, maintainable, and defect-free code using modern frameworks such as TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and Web APIs.
Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
Analyze user stories for feasibility and conduct impact analysis to ensure alignment with business goals.
Plan and prioritize sprint work while managing incoming customer support requests.
Deploy applications to the cloud using CI/CD pipelines and support system integration testing.
Maintain and improve production support documentation and internal tools.
Facilitate continuous improvement by identifying and recommending process and system enhancements.
Understand and leverage existing CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools.
Support platform modernization efforts including microservices architecture and cloud-native technologies.
Minimum Qualifications
5+ years of experience in full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
Proficiency in multiple programming languages including TypeScript, JavaScript, Python, React, and SQL.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.
Hands-on experience deploying applications to the cloud using CI/CD pipelines.
Strong experience with API integration, automation, and tool development.
Familiarity with DevOps tools such as BitBucket and Git.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in Agile environments (SCRUM/KANBAN).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Legal Technology
Background in platform modernization and microservices architecture.
Familiarity with vendor software products.
