Job Title: Microsoft Alliance Director Location: Remote BUT Preferred (Westlake, TX or Seattle, Redmond, Kirkland, or Renton WA(Hybrid/Flexible)
Department: Strategic Alliances
Reports to: Executive Leadership Team

Salary Range: $190K to $200K Base + PLB (slight extend but no exponential increase)

About the Role

My Client is seeking a seasoned Microsoft Alliance Director to drive and elevate their strategic partnership with Microsoft. This is a high-impact, high-visibility leadership position within the Strategic Alliances Team, responsible for deepening the Microsoft relationship, driving revenue through joint go-to-market initiatives, and expanding the portfolio of Microsoft-based services.

As the face of My Client to Microsoft, you ll build trusted relationships with Microsoft stakeholders, influence co-sell motions, and partner closely with internal delivery and sales teams to craft innovative solutions that meet real-world client needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Alliance Leadership: Define and execute My Client s Microsoft alliance growth strategy, overseeing relationship management and joint success metrics.
  • Sales Enablement & Revenue Growth: Achieve or exceed revenue targets related to Microsoft services by developing new business opportunities and supporting field sales.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with delivery, product, and industry teams to co-develop new Microsoft-based service offerings.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong, trust-based relationships with Microsoft account teams, GTM leads, and partner program contacts to increase visibility and joint opportunities.
  • Market Penetration: Identify growth areas, expand presence across industry verticals, and support pipeline development through direct and partner-sourced opportunities.
  • Co-Sell & GTM Planning: Orchestrate co-selling strategies, account-based marketing campaigns, and field alignment activities to accelerate deal velocity.
  • Operational Excellence: Partner with My Client s Global Microsoft Practice Leader to shape offerings, align with Microsoft's roadmap, and execute joint business plans.
  • Brand Positioning: Establish My Client as a top-of-mind, go-to Microsoft partner across Microsoft's internal ecosystem and the broader market.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience leading strategic technology partnerships, with a focus on Microsoft ecosystem engagement.
  • Sales Acumen: Demonstrated success in selling Microsoft security services, including advisory, implementation, and managed services.
  • Track Record: Proven ability to meet and exceed aggressive sales targets through alliance-driven strategies.
  • Marketing Mindset: Familiarity with demand generation, account-based marketing, and co-branded campaigns to accelerate partner-sourced pipeline.
  • Leadership: Skilled in leading matrixed teams and coordinating initiatives across sales, marketing, delivery, and executive stakeholders.
  • Negotiation & Influence: Strong negotiation skills to secure joint wins and foster long-term collaboration.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to think long-term, anticipate trends, and translate vision into tactical execution.
