Job Details
Sr. SAP Functional Consultant (FICO) to design and deliver solutions within Records to Report (GL/AP/AR) for our agriculture client
Location: Hybrid in Loveland, CO (Occasional on-site requirement for large releases/deployments)
Duration: 1 year contract
Hours: 40 hours/week
What you will do:
- Responsible for architecting and designing SAP solutions to meet specific business requirements and ensuring integrity of design through to implementation
- Responsible for working with, and providing direction to, system integrators in a project setting to ensure SAP solutions in the Record to Report area meet business requirements, achieve a high level of systems integration, follow SAP best practice, and enrich the user experience.
- Work directly with business stakeholders to collaborate on SAP solutions required to meet business objectives
- Determine optimal approach to develop and deliver required functionality from financial, architectural, operational perspectives
- Define functional requirements and capture them in configuration rationale and functional specification documents. Validate any proposed development estimates
- Own the solution design and oversee development to ensure it meets business requirements
- Define and/or execute test plans and review outcomes to validate solution meets intent and is appropriate in response to business demand for change
- When necessary, assist managed service team with any escalated incidents and recommend/confirm appropriate actions to resolve
Must have skills
- 10+ years of experience as a SAP Functional Consultant (Finance) designing and delivering solutions within Records to Report (R2R)
- Experience mapping requirements of clients as well as multiple stakeholders, along with translating requirements into business requirement documents (BRD), functional requirement documents (FRD) and technical solutions.
- Experience working in various sub-modules of S/4HANA FICO and the integration with SD, MM & PP.
- Experience of coordinating with banks for AR & AP payment/collection, automation solutions and EBS processing
- Experience with at least two end to end full life cycle implementations including Blueprinting, Fit Gap Analysis, Configuration, data migrations, cutovers, and go live experience
- Hands-on experience in Product Costing with Material Ledger and Project Systems in MTO scenarios is required.
- Understanding of Acquire to Retire process in SAP and all integration points from Record to Report perspective.
- Strong understanding of SAP Finance validations and substitutions
