Cloud Security Engineer/Developer - AWS/Java
Location: Malvern, PA or Dallas, TX (Hybrid/3 days On-site) - Must be onsite day one!
Duration: 1 year

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Cloud-Native Security Engineer with deep expertise in AWS and CI/CD to join our growing team. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about building secure, scalable, and modern authentication and authorization solutions in a cloud-native environment.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement next-generation cloud-native security solutions with a focus on:
    • Passwordless authentication
    • QR code-based login
    • Biometric authentication
    • Risk-based, omni-channel Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect secure and scalable cloud applications.
  • Leverage AWS services such as CloudWatch, S3, Lambda, and Glue to enhance security posture.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools using Python to streamline security operations.
  • Contribute to application development with a strong emphasis on integrating security best practices.
  • Utilize Git and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Bamboo) to support secure and efficient deployment workflows.
Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in cloud security engineering, particularly within AWS environments.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of AWS CloudWatch, S3, Lambda, and Glue.
  • Proficiency in Python for scripting and automation.
  • Solid understanding of authentication (AuthN) and authorization (AuthZ) frameworks.
  • Familiarity with MFA, biometrics, QR-based login, and omni-channel security strategies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (preferably Bamboo) and version control systems like Git.
  • General application development experience; knowledge of JavaScript, web services, and front-end technologies is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with risk-based authentication models.
  • Knowledge of secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) practices.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management (IAM) best practices in cloud environments.
