Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager of Cloud Operations to lead and optimize cloud infrastructure and services. This role will focus on driving operational excellence, ensuring reliability, and fostering innovation within a high-performance team. Located in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, this position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact by modernizing infrastructure and enhancing organizational resilience.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team in managing and optimizing cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Develop and implement strategic plans for infrastructure modernization and operational improvements.
Oversee vendor relationships, negotiate service-level agreements, and monitor performance metrics.
Drive automation initiatives, including Infrastructure-as-Code and CI/CD pipelines.
Establish clear accountability and urgency within the team to meet organizational goals.
Collaborate across departments and with external partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
Mentor team members to foster growth and build a high-performing team.
Monitor and analyze KPIs and SLAs to guide continuous improvement efforts.
Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
Lead transformation efforts to enhance resilience and adapt to evolving technology trends.
Requirements
Minimum of 7 years in IT operations, with at least 5 years in leadership roles.
Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and deep knowledge of cloud architecture.
Strong understanding of hybrid infrastructure models, including physical and virtual systems.
Proficiency in automation tools, CI/CD pipelines, and operational monitoring platforms.
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification required; Azure Solutions Architect Expert preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Demonstrated ability to drive accountability, clarity, and results in dynamic environments.
