Job Details

Job Title: APD Writer Job ID: 25-09450 Location: Remote Duration: 12 months of contract

Client is seeking an experienced Advanced Planning Writer to develop federal planning documents (APDs) supporting the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES). This role involves working cross-functionally with subject matter experts, project teams, and leadership to produce documentation for federal funding proposals and compliance initiatives.

Top Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years developing APDs and federal documentation
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid Eligibility, client Dept, and Client systems
  • Expertise in interpreting Medicaid policy and CMS regulations
  • Skilled in MS Project, Teams, Zoom, PowerPoint, SOPs
  • Advanced communication, editing, and proofreading
  • Prior experience with RFPs, RFIs, grants, and contract processes (preferred)

Responsibilities:
  • Lead APD development lifecycle: kickoff, review, closeout
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams
  • Draft and edit content per agency standards
  • Ensure clarity, compliance, and federal readiness


Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $57.00-$60.00 per hour.
