Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: Remote
Duration: 12+ Months
Reports to: Director of Engineering
HCL Healthcare is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team in a remote capacity. This individual will be responsible for automating, managing, and optimizing our infrastructure, development, and deployment pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud services, automation tools, and CI/CD processes to ensure seamless software delivery for our healthcare IT systems.
Experience:
4+ years of experience in DevOps or a similar infrastructure automation role.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
Strong understanding of CI/CD practices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Experience in version control tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Knowledge of security practices and compliance in cloud environments (HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.).
Skills:
Strong experience with cloud-native technologies (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure).
Solid experience in container orchestration using Kubernetes.
Proficiency in Terraform, Docker, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other automation tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Effective communication and team collaboration in a remote work environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with healthcare IT systems and understanding of healthcare compliance regulations (HIPAA, HITECH).
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
Experience with managing and deploying applications in high-traffic, mission-critical environments.
Factors Influencing the Rate:
Experience & Expertise: Candidates with advanced skills in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and experience in large-scale deployments can command higher rates.
