Position: Project Manager
Location: Tallahassee, FL (Onsite)
Duration: 12 Months Approx.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee large-scale projects with multiple diverse teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership skills, deep expertise in project management methodologies, and the ability to drive complex initiatives from inception to completion.

This role requires excellent communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders, expertise in risk/issue management, and experience in delivering high-quality results on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, OR four (4) years of equivalent work experience (year-for-year substitution allowed).

  • PMP Certification.

  • 5+ years managing successful, large-scale projects with multiple diverse teams.

  • 5+ years of change management methodology implementation.

  • 5+ years using project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, Jira, etc.).

  • 5+ years working with PMO methodologies and documentation.

  • 5+ years in risk and issue management.

  • 5+ years facilitating meetings and developing clear project documentation.

  • Experience creating and presenting status reports to stakeholders.

  • Strong coordination, leadership, and negotiation skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work with both technical and non-technical teams.

  • Must pass a Level II Background Check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with ServiceNow and DocuSign.

  • Change Management Certification (e.g., Prosci).

  • Agile/Scrum-based Project Management Certification.

  • ITIL Service Management Foundations certification.

  • Experience managing high-volume distributed user base projects.

  • State government project experience, knowledge of Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C.

  • Experience with vendor project management and technical programming teams.

  • Problem-solving initiative for complex challenges.

  • Knowledge of IT standards in criminal justice environments.

  • Strong skills in negotiation, mediation, facilitation, and team building.

  • High-energy, collaborative team player.
