We are seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to lead the design and implementation of robust, scalable solutions within the Wealth domain. This role involves providing architectural guidance, mentoring development teams, and driving the adoption of modern software development practices across squads.

Essential Functions
  • Develop architecture and detailed design diagrams, collaborating with technical teams across initiatives.
  • Coach and guide squad leads to improve coding practices and software quality.
  • Provide architectural oversight to ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Recommend and support solutions for addressing security vulnerabilities.
  • Assist squad leads in navigating security variances during Security Technology review meetings.
  • Recommend tools and practices to enhance engineering and support team efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of modern software development practices.
  • Collaborate with tech leads to improve code development, delivery, and release strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is expected or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in the banking or finance industry.
Technical Skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and debugging capabilities.
  • Solid understanding of core development principles.
  • Experience with API development, including RESTful and SOAP services.
  • Proficiency with databases such as SQL and Oracle.
  • Background in data integration and ETL processes.
  • Familiarity with SAML/SSO, preferably using OKTA.
  • Strong data architecture and analysis skills; data warehousing experience is a plus.
  • COBOL/Mainframe experience, including TWS scheduling, is a highly desirable skill.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $79,000 to $120,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
