Job Details
Location: Herndon, VA (Local 3 days/week onsite must)
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the Enterprise Network Infrastructure across the SAP NS2 Enterprise.
- Evaluate, design, implement, and maintain network systems to ensure 100% availability.
- Develop technical standards, implement security measures, and handle fault and performance management.
- Handle network components like routers, switches, wireless, VoIP, and others.
- Work closely with other IT teams (e.g., Cyber Security, Endpoint Management, and Systems Administration).
- Lead and perform systems analysis, including developing requirements for new network infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 7+ years of IT experience, with 4+ years in networking and telecom.
- Hands-on experience with network hardware components (routers, firewalls, VPN, etc.).
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP and related networking protocols.
- Familiarity with cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Experience with security measures, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with UNIX/Linux systems and basic scripting (Python, Perl, Shell).
- Familiarity with Cisco products, especially ISRs and 9300s.
- Experience with network monitoring tools like SolarWinds, Wireshark, and NetFlow.
- Certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, AWS, or Azure are desired.
