Desktop Support Engineer



I am seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Desk Support Engineer to join our team! In this onsite role (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday), you will be crucial in providing end-user support for a diverse environment including Windows and MAC OS, managed through Microsoft Intune and JAMF. Experience with technologies for replicating user desktops in an enterprise environment will be a valuable asset. Your expertise in Azure Entra (Azure AD) will be key in user and device management.


Responsibilities:



  • Provide hands-on and remote technical support for Windows and MAC OS environments.

  • Utilize Microsoft Intune for device management, application deployment, and security policy enforcement.

  • Manage and support MAC OS devices using JAMF.

  • Administer user accounts and access using Azure Entra ID.

  • Perform white glove service for executive and VIP users.

  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues efficiently.

  • Collaborate effectively with the IT team as a strong team player.

  • Participate in onboarding and offboarding processes, potentially involving desktop replication.

  • Document support procedures and solutions.

  • Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of our desktop environment, including strategies for desktop replication.


Qualifications:



  • Proven experience in desk support.

  • Strong knowledge of Windows and MAC OS operating systems.

  • Experience with mobile device management (MDM) solutions, specifically Microsoft Intune and JAMF.

  • Familiarity with Azure Entra ID for user and device management.

  • Experience with technologies for replicating user desktops (e.g., imaging, virtualization) is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service, including white glove support.

  • A proactive and collaborative approach to work.

  • Must be available to work onsite in on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
